Liverpool rejects a staggering £200 million offer for Mohamed Salah from the Saudi Pro League during the January transfer window.
The Saudi Pro League has confirmed they won't pursue Mohamed Salah in the January window, despite a whopping £200 million bid made just five months ago. Salah, a key target for the league, had been linked with a move from Liverpool, but the club rejected the offer before the summer window closed.
Despite the substantial bid, Liverpool was adamant about retaining Salah, with Jurgen Klopp expressing confidence in the player's commitment to the club.
Reports suggest that the timing of the bid played a crucial role, and had it come earlier, it might have been considered by both player and club. Salah still has 18 months left on his current contract with Liverpool.
